The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has officially confirmed the lineup for the upcoming FIBA Europe Cup season, featuring 24 teams that have directly registered for the competition. Among them is the Latvian club "Valmiera Glass"/ViA, securing its place in the main tournament.

Another 21 teams have registered as reserves in case they fail to qualify for the FIBA Champions League main draw. This list includes "VEF Rīga". In the Champions League qualification, 24 clubs will compete, but only three will advance to the main tournament. Additionally, six teams will participate in a special qualification round to determine three spots in the Europe Cup main tournament.

From the 21 reserve teams, those that qualify for the Champions League will be replaced by the statistically best losers from the Europe Cup qualification. Alongside the Latvian teams, Estonian clubs "University of Tartu" and Tallinn's "Bigbank"/"Cramo" will also compete in the FIBA Europe Cup, all representing the joint Latvian-Estonian league.
