Google Health now lets you sync Fitbit data with Apple Health
Google has begun rolling out an update that lets Fitbit users connect their workouts, steps, and other health data directly to Apple Health, removing the need for third-party workarounds.

Google has begun rolling out an update to Google Health that allows Fitbit users to sync their workouts, steps, and other health metrics directly to Apple Health. With version 5.05, users can tap their profile icon, select Partner apps, and choose Apple Health to establish a direct connection. The news was earlier reported by 9to5Mac.
Previously, Google Health only supported importing Apple Health data into Google Health, not exporting data in the other direction. This forced users who wanted Fitbit data in Apple Health to rely on third-party apps such as Power Sync for Fitbit or Fitbit to Apple Health Sync, or to use other workarounds.
Google Health replaced the Fitbit app in May. The rollout was initially rocky, as users raised concerns about the new AI health coach, the interface, and other issues, though Google has since addressed some of those complaints.
Alongside the update, Google announced that users in the United States can use Smart Health Links to share medical records with a provider or a family member. To create a link, users go to the Health tab, open the Medical section, select Shareable records, and tap the plus icon. They can then choose which data to include and share it via a URL or QR code.
