FK Auda’s Coach Calls for United Support for Latvian Football in Europe
After a surprising 3-2 win against FCSB Bucharest, FK Auda prepares to defend their lead at home. The coach urges all Latvian football fans to unite.

FK Auda started the second round of the Conference League qualifiers with a stunning 3-2 victory over Romanian giants FCSB Bucharest. Now, they must protect that advantage in front of their home crowd on July 30.
Speaking about the upcoming match, the head coach emphasized the need for a large and united support from the stands. He noted that he himself attends games of other Latvian clubs like "Riga" and RFS, because it’s Latvian football versus Europe. While local competition is normal, he believes everyone – clubs, the federation, and the Virslīga – must be strong together.
Such unity, according to the coach, can also help the national team grow. If they all move towards one goal, Latvian football has great potential to produce surprises at various levels of European competition.
The match against FCSB kicks off on Thursday at 19:00 and will be broadcast live on Sportacentrs.com and TV4.
