Fleetwood to face Everton or Newcastle in Carabao Cup quarter-finals
League Two club Fleetwood Town will host either Everton or Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. They reached the last eight by beating Premier League champions Arsenal on penalties.

Fleetwood Town, a League Two football club, will play at their home ground, Highbury, in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, England's League Cup knockout competition, against either Everton or Newcastle United. Fleetwood reached the last eight on Tuesday by beating Arsenal, the reigning Premier League champions, in a penalty shootout in the fourth round. As the lowest-ranked side still in the tournament, they have already made history.
Their opponent is not yet known. It will be decided in the final fourth-round match on Thursday, when Everton host Newcastle at Hill Dickinson Stadium. The winner of that game will travel to Fleetwood.
The other quarter-finals
Holders Manchester City will host Bradford City, the only other club from outside the Premier League, at Etihad Stadium. Bradford got past Brighton on penalties in round four.
Liverpool, who also needed a shootout to beat Chelsea, will entertain Bournemouth. Crystal Palace will take on Sunderland at Selhurst Park. Both of those ties are contested solely by Premier League sides.
Two of the four quarter-finals therefore feature a club from outside the Premier League. The quarter-final matches will be played in the week commencing 14 December.
