Florida Panthers Call Up Forward Reinhart From the AHL
The Florida Panthers of the NHL, who also have Latvian forward Vilmanis on their roster, have called up forward Reinhart from their farm club. He already played for Florida last season.
The Florida Panthers, who play in the NHL (North America's top professional hockey league), have called up forward Reinhart from their farm club in the AHL, the lower-tier professional league. The headline frames the move as possible competition for Vilmanis, who plays for the same team.
How Reinhart reached Florida
Last season Reinhart joined the Panthers through the waiver list, where he had been placed by the Vegas Golden Knights. In a Panthers jersey he played 15 games, scoring six goals, adding two assists and posting a +4 plus-minus rating. Over the whole season he appeared in 59 games and recorded 9+6.
This season and earlier experience
The 26-year-old started this season with Florida's farm club, the Charlotte Checkers, collecting two assists in five games. He spent most of the 2024/25 season with the Belleville Senators of the AHL, where he scored 14 goals and had 18 assists in 45 games.
Team standing
The Panthers currently sit fourth in the NHL's Atlantic Division with 10 points from eight games.
