Latvia's Finance Ministry has completed an audit of procurement procedures for information technology systems of national significance, concluding that no conflicts of interest were identified.

The findings were set out in an informative report prepared by the ministry, which the Cabinet of Ministers reviewed and approved on Tuesday.

The report specifically covers IT systems considered to be of national importance — meaning those affecting broader public or state administration interests. The purpose of the audit was to check whether the procurement processes for such systems involved any instances where those responsible for decisions might have had personal interests influencing the outcome.

The Finance Ministry's review did not confirm any such risks.
