This summer, the 'Konrāda kvartāls' project in Cēsis has fully launched – a real estate development by the tech group Draugiem Group, involving the restoration of three historic buildings and the construction of a new one. The aim is to revitalize the area around Rožu laukums and improve the cityscape.

The 'Konrāda kvartāls' project in Cēsis has become fully operational this summer. Developed by the technology company group Draugiem Group, the initiative seeks not only to refurbish a significant part of the city between the medieval castle and the church, but also to invigorate Rožu laukums.
Three historic wooden buildings have been restored, with architect Pēteris Blūms overseeing the renovation – described by the developers as a specialist in wooden houses. A new building has also been constructed, designed by architect Pēteris Bajārs from the Outofbox studio. Bajārs previously noted that the project might elicit mixed reactions.
Andis Malahovskis, head of Draugiem Group’s company 'Mājas Cēsīs', stated that some finishing touches remain, but the project is now operational. He agreed to provide further details about the development and future plans in Cēsis to 'Delfi Bizness'.
