Photo report: Is Jomas Street ready for the tourist season?
Delfi visited Jomas Street in Jūrmala in mid-June to assess the start of the tourist season, offerings, and price levels, as well as to see notable landmarks.

Jomas Street, known as the heart of Jūrmala and its main pedestrian street, is experiencing the beginning of the tourist season in mid-June. On a weekday around second breakfast time, after several grey and cool days, the weather has turned warmer with sun and clouds, occasionally even hot.
Delfi walked the full length of Jomas Street – from the sculpture "Lāčauša cīņa ar pūķi" (Bear's fight with a dragon) to the Kazan Mother of God Orthodox Church, built in 2019 on the site of a former wooden church, and to the impressive copper globe. The aim was to explore this year's seasonal offerings and price levels, including meals, coffee, and cocktails.
The photo report captures the street's atmosphere and visitor flow, offering a glimpse into how ready Jūrmala's central street is to welcome tourists.
