French Basketball Player Francisco Returns Home, Joins ASVEL
After a standout season with Zalgiris, Francisco has signed a three-year deal with Tony Parker's ASVEL Villeurbanne.

Francisco, who was the star of Zalgiris Kaunas last season, has returned to his home country to join ASVEL Villeurbanne, the most historic club in France. The French guard signed a three-year contract with the club owned by Tony Parker. Zalgiris will receive €400,000 as a buyout for the player.
In the previous EuroLeague season, Francisco averaged 16.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game, earning a spot on the All-EuroLeague First Team.
ASVEL has already added several players this offseason, including Armoni Brooks, Nick Weiler-Babb, Bubu Goc, and Daniel Tais. The club has secured new investors and plans a budget of €58 million for the upcoming season. Team owner Tony Parker will serve as head coach, paying himself approximately €1.1 million – ten times more than the previous head coach Pierrick Poupet.
