Frankfurt will host Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 from September 8 to 12, one of the world's major trade fairs dedicated to the automotive spare parts and service equipment industry. Organizers expect more than 4,400 exhibiting companies from over 80 countries, with roughly 300,000 square meters of exhibition space already booked at the Messe Frankfurt venue.
Exhibitor numbers rising
Despite a challenging global economic environment, organizers report that the number of participants has grown by around five percent compared to the previous event. In total, between 4,400 and 4,500 companies are expected to take part, and the available exhibition space is already fully booked.
Organizers note that Automechanika Frankfurt continues to serve not only as a showcase for spare parts and service equipment, but also as a venue where future trends for the entire automotive aftermarket industry are set.
Industry growth outlook
According to forecasts from analytics firm Frost & Sullivan, the global automotive aftermarket could grow by 5.8 percent in 2026. This projection aligns with the rising exhibitor numbers and suggests the industry is maintaining positive momentum despite broader economic challenges.
