Nearly 200 combat clashes at the front in a day, most in Kostiantynivka direction
Ukraine's General Staff reported 197 combat clashes along the front over the past 24 hours, with the highest concentration in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions. Several other sectors saw no offensive activity by Russian forces.
According to Ukraine's General Staff situation report as of 22:00, 197 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day. The most intense fighting occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 20 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka and Rusyn Yar, with one clash still ongoing.
Situation by direction
In the Pokrovsk direction, 15 attacks were repelled near Vilne, Bilytske, Chernihivka, Myrne, Serhiivka and Molodetske, with three engagements continuing. In the Huliaipole direction, eleven enemy attacks were recorded near Rizdvianka, Kopani, Yehorivka and Myrne.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Kozacha Lopan, Volokhivske and Prykolotne, with two more clashes ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, defenders repelled two assaults near Kivsharivka and Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman direction, five enemy attempts to advance near Zarichne, Lyman and Dibrova were successfully repelled, with one clash continuing. In the Sloviansk direction, three enemy attempts to advance near Mykolaivka were stopped.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, defenders repelled four attacks near Sichneve and Verbove.
The General Staff noted that no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna, Kursk, Kramatorsk, Orikhiv and Prydniprovia directions.
