175 combat clashes recorded at the front in a day, most attacks on Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes

Ukraine's General Staff said in a report compiled as of 22:00 that 175 armed clashes had occurred along the front since the start of the day.

Most intense directions

The Pokrovsk axis saw the highest number of attacks, with Russian forces launching 26 assaults as they tried to advance toward several settlements, including Dorozhnie, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Svitle and Novopavlivka. Two engagements in this area were still ongoing at the time of reporting.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 22 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka itself and toward nearby settlements including Illinivka and Toretske. One attack in this sector was still continuing.

Situation elsewhere along the front

One enemy assault action was recorded on the Novopskov-Sloboda and Kursk axes. On the southern Sloboda axis, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Ternova and Kozacha Lopan.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy made two attempts to improve its positions by attacking toward Radkivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, with one such action still underway.

On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian forces repelled six attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman and Dibrova, two of which were still in progress. On the Sloviansk axis, three attempts to advance near Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka were stopped, with one assault continuing.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked toward Voskresenka and Berezove, while on the Huliaipole axis Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Rivne and Hirke.
