Ukraine's General Staff has reported 167 combat clashes along the front line since the start of the day on September 25, according to a situation summary compiled as of 22:00 local time.
The report states that Russian forces carried out 56 air strikes during this period, dropping 190 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 4,346 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,816 shelling attacks against populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
Heaviest fighting near Kostiantynivka
The most intense clashes of the day occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, where Ukrainian defense forces repelled 18 Russian attacks. The Pokrovsk direction saw the second-highest number, with 12 attacks repelled.
In the Southern Slobozhanske direction, Ukrainian forces beat back 10 attacks, while the Northern Slobozhanske and Kursk directions together saw six repelled attacks. In the Lyman direction, three attacks were repelled, matching the number in the Huliaipole direction. Two attacks occurred in the Sloviansk direction, while the Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka, and Orikhiv directions each recorded one attack.
