Transfer gossip: Bayern watching Wirtz, Liverpool eye Bournemouth forward
Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Florian Wirtz's situation at Liverpool, while Liverpool could target Bournemouth forward Rayan next summer. Borussia Dortmund have ruled out re-signing free agent Jadon Sancho.

Bayern Munich are keeping a close watch on Florian Wirtz's circumstances at Liverpool, according to Monday's transfer gossip round-up. The 23-year-old Germany midfielder currently plays for the Premier League club.
Liverpool could break their own transfer record next summer to sign Bournemouth's Brazil forward Rayan, 20, should they trigger a £130m release clause that becomes active in 2027.
The Merseyside club also holds an option worth 55 million euros (around £47.2m) to convert their loan deal for Uruguay defender Ronald Araujo, 27, into a permanent transfer from Barcelona.
Defensive market
Juventus are not willing to part with France defender Pierre Kalulu, 26, during the January window, despite reported interest from both Manchester United and Liverpool.
Borussia Dortmund manager Niko Kovac has dismissed the possibility of bringing former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, 26, back to the club. Sancho, now a free agent, has reportedly had his representatives hold discussions with several Premier League sides about a potential move.
Young talent and boardroom moves
Dortmund have joined Manchester United in scouting Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, 18, with both clubs sending representatives to watch the young Englishman.
Meanwhile, Championship clubs and Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool defender Luke Chambers, 22, an England youth international, in January.
Off the pitch, former Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio, 54, is set to join Tottenham, having been offered a role at the club starting from the January transfer window.
