Transfer gossip: Richarlison could still leave Spurs, Coutinho agrees Santos move

The latest football transfer gossip roundup centres on Brazil forward Richarlison, whose proposed move from Tottenham to Vasco da Gama has fallen through. Despite the collapse of that deal, clubs remain interested in signing the 29-year-old.

Fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho, once of Liverpool and Aston Villa, has agreed to spend three months with Santos. The 34-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Vasco da Gama in February and will use the spell to decide whether to continue his playing career.

Interest in rising talents

Manchester United are closely monitoring Bournemouth left-back Adrien Truffert, the 24-year-old France international valued at around £60m. Liverpool remain keen on Inter Milan's Aleksandar Stankovic, the 21-year-old Serbia midfielder, having already made an enquiry about him this summer.

Spanish side Malaga are considering signing former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, who became a free agent after departing Mexican club Monterrey in June.
