The women's football club Riga played a UEFA Champions League qualification second-round match for third place on Saturday in the Danish city of Køge, where the team suffered a defeat.
In the match against Lithuania's Šiauliai club Gintra, the Riga side lost 1:4.
The defeat means that Riga will not advance to compete for a place in the UEFA Europa Cup at this stage of the tournament, bringing the club's Champions League qualification campaign to a close.
