Two winners of "Almost Perfect Dinner" give up their prize this week

This week's edition of the show "Almost Perfect Dinner" (Gandrīz ideālas vakariņas) brought together four contrasting guests — influencer Una Ulme, fashion designer Indra Salceviča, singer Andris Ērglis, and musician and radio voice Mārtiņš Kanters. According to 360TV, the week was full of surprises, from unusual dishes to unexpected mishaps in the kitchen.
Four very different evenings
Una Ulme opened the week, hosting guests at her countryside home and surprising them with a chanterelle cappuccino, alongside an unplanned rainstorm. The second evening was hosted by fashion designer Indra Salceviča, who had borrowed both a house and a husband from a friend for the occasion. She deliberately broke from dinner-party convention, serving a vegetable-heavy, meat-light menu that included an ingredient bought abroad.
On the third evening, guests were welcomed by Andris Ērglis, performer of the well-known song "Ripoja akmens," who served traditional Latvian dishes, placed stones on the table as a twist, and shared previously untold stories and a dream from his life. The week closed with musician and radio personality Mārtiņš Kanters, who hosted guests not at home but at his family's favorite retreat. He shared travel stories and a trick for cutting onions without tears, though the evening hit a snag when the soup turned out to have no cream — a substitute the host improvised did not sit well with Salceviča.
An unusual finish
The week's scoring ended in a tie between Andris Ērglis and Mārtiņš Kanters. Rather than keep the main prize, both chose to hand it to third-place finisher Una Ulme, since she was the only one among the group without an air fryer at home.
