Taste buds cannot be deceived. How do food technologists use this?
According to Latvijas Radio, taste is difficult to deceive and can be trained to serve as an accurate measuring tool in food technology.

Food technologists leverage this by training taste perception and using it as an important measurement instrument. Hence, human taste buds act as tools for evaluating product quality.
