Gaudeamus 2026: The Power of Togetherness

As the 20th Baltic Student Song and Dance Festival Gaudeamus approaches, the artistic director of the dance program, Dagmāra Bārbale, expressed her hope that participants will fully experience the power of togetherness. She emphasized the special role of the final concert venue in creating a sense of unity. According to Bārbale, this experience will allow participants to carry home the feeling that they have friends, neighbors, and a stable support system nearby. The Gaudeamus festival, held every five years, gathers students from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia to sing and dance together, strengthening cultural ties among the Baltic states.
