An Israeli drone attack on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Saturday killed one person and injured two others, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency. The Palestinian Information Center identified the victim as Muawiya al-Aydi, a municipality worker.

Separately, an Israeli attack in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood injured one person, Wafa reported.

Despite a ceasefire technically in place since October, Israel’s military has carried out regular attacks on Gaza, with more than half of the territory under Israeli military control in violation of the agreement.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least two Palestinians have been killed and 11 injured in the past 48 hours. Since the ceasefire was declared, 983 people have been killed and 3,122 wounded.

Hamas accused Israel of repeatedly violating the deal by continuing attacks and shifting the so-called “Yellow Line” that marks Israeli-controlled areas. “Israeli actions reflect its unwillingness to implement the ceasefire agreement and aim to blow up the negotiation track, while continuing escalation for political and electoral considerations,” said Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem on Friday.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces conducted violent raids near Bethlehem on Saturday, using stun grenades and tear gas during operations at the Dheisheh refugee camp and near Solomon’s Pools reservoirs, causing multiple injuries.

A disabled Palestinian man was shot and wounded in the town of Duma, near Hebron. Wafa said Israeli forces shot him, while Israeli police said a settler opened fire feeling threatened as the man carried a rock.

Other Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and vandalized property near Bethlehem, including assaulting electrical workers and stealing water pipes, according to Wafa.
