Gaza artists paint murals to honour Macklemore for Palestine support

Artists in Gaza have created murals on the walls of destroyed buildings to honour US rapper Macklemore for his support of Palestine.

In the Gaza Strip, artists are turning the walls of buildings destroyed during the conflict into canvases for murals dedicated to US rapper Macklemore, in recognition of his public support for Palestine.

The murals serve as a tribute from local artists to the foreign musician who has spoken out in favour of the Palestinian cause. The artwork appears on structures damaged by the fighting, merging creative expression with the surrounding scenes of destruction.

The initiative reflects how residents of Gaza are using street art as a means of expressing gratitude and solidarity toward those who have voiced support for their cause on the international stage.
