General Staff: 175 combat clashes on front in a day, most attacks near Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk

Ukraine’s General Staff reported that, as of 22:00, 175 combat clashes had taken place on the front since the start of the day. The most intense fighting was recorded on the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk axes, with Russian forces launching 19 and 17 attacks respectively.

On the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out one attack, one air strike, and dropped two aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops fired on Ukrainian positions and settlements 92 times, including two attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems.

On the South-Slobozhansk direction, the adversary launched five assaults near Hrafske, Chuhunivka, Khatnie, and in the area of Starytsia; two assault actions are still underway. On the Kupyansk axis, one offensive action was directed toward Radkivka.

Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks near Novoselivka and close to Lyman and Dibrova on the Lyman direction, with one attack still ongoing. On the Slovyansk direction, four enemy attempts to advance near Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, and toward Orichuvatka were stopped, while one more clash continues.

On the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Mykolaipillia. Two clashes are still in progress.

The Pokrovsk direction saw 17 attacks, with the occupiers trying to advance toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka. Two battles are ongoing there as well.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy made one attack toward Berezove. Six attacks were repelled on the Huliaipole direction near Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Charivne, and Novoselivka. On the Orikhiv axis, defenders halted two enemy attempts to advance in the area of Mala Tokmachka.
