General Staff: Russia pressing hardest on Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts

Ukraine's General Staff reported 197 combat clashes along the front over the past day, with the heaviest fighting on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes, where most attacks were repelled.

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff reported as of 22:00 last night that 197 combat engagements had occurred along the front since the start of the day. The most intense fighting took place on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian troops repelled 21 enemy attacks, and on the Kostiantynivka axis, where 18 Russian assaults were beaten back.

On the Pokrovsk axis, occupying forces tried to advance toward Dobropillia, Myrne and Serhiivka, as well as near Dorozhnie, Shevchenko and Udachne. On the Kostiantynivka axis, fighting occurred near Kostiantynivka itself and around Dovha Balka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk and Kucheriv Yar.

Situation on other sections of the front

On the Pivdennoslobozhanske axis, the enemy attempted four assaults on Ukrainian positions toward Kozacha Lopan and Volokhivka, and near Lyman and Startsi, with one clash still ongoing. On the Kupiansk axis, defenders repelled two assaults toward Kivsharivka, while on the Lyman axis they stopped two attempts to advance near Novoserhiivka and Novoselivka.

On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian forces halted seven attempts by occupiers to push forward near Yampil, Ozerne, Kryva Luka and Mykolaivka, with another attack continuing. On the Kramatorsk axis, one attack near Yurkivka was stopped.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, defenders repelled three attacks toward Ternove, while six attacks were recorded on the Huliaipole axis near Hirke and Charivne. On the Orikhiv axis, defenders repelled one attack toward Chervona Krynytsia.
