General Staff: Russian army attacked Ukrainian forces 279 times in past day
On July 15, 279 combat clashes were recorded on the front, with the most intense attacks in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk directions.
Ukraine's General Staff reported that on July 15, there were 279 combat clashes on the front. Russian forces were most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk directions.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, 10 clashes occurred; the enemy launched two airstrikes, dropped six aerial bombs, and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 61 times.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, 15 attacks took place near Starytsia, Artilne, and towards Izbýtske, Hrafske, Lyman, Vilcha, Symynivka, Kolodiazhne, Kutkivka, Sheviakivka, Khatnie, and Ambarné.
In the Kupiansk direction, five attacks were made towards Kupiansk, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted 12 breakthroughs near Lyman, Drobysheve, Ozerne, as well as in the areas of Novoselivka and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk direction, 22 assaults were carried out towards Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, four attacks occurred near Nykyforivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, 30 attacks took place near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Sofiivka, and towards Vilne, Toretsk, and Kucherov Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 38 assault actions near Dorozhnë, Novooleksandrivka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, and towards Bilytske, Shevchenko, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, four attacks were repelled towards Vorone, Kalynivske, and Ternove.
In the Huliaipole direction, 18 attacks occurred towards Hirké, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Dobropillia, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces stopped five enemy attempts to advance near Plavni, Bilohiria, and Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Pridniprovsk direction, the enemy conducted no offensive actions. In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy assault group formation were detected.
