General Staff names three hottest frontline sectors
Ukraine's General Staff reports 214 combat engagements since the start of July 6; the highest number occurred in the Slavyansk, Kostyantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions.
Frontline update
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10:00 PM on July 6, a total of 214 combat engagements had taken place since the beginning of the day. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Slavyansk, Kostyantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions.
Enemy attacks
Russian forces launched one missile strike using 68 missiles, conducted 62 airstrikes dropping 179 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,733 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,208 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
Breakdown by direction
In the North Slobozhanske and Kursk direction, 8 engagements occurred; South Slobozhanske – 6; Lyman – 11; Slavyansk – 23; Kostyantynivka – 25; Pokrovsk – 32; Oleksandrivka – 4; Huliaipole – 14; and Orikhiv – 2.
