General Staff: Over 200 combat clashes at the front, most in Pokrovsk direction
Ukraine's General Staff reported 206 combat engagements along the front since the start of the day, with 38 Russian assaults recorded in the Pokrovsk direction alone. The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest, according to the 22:00 situation report.
Ukraine's General Staff said in its evening situation report as of 22:00 that 206 combat clashes had occurred along the front line since the beginning of the day. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defense forces repelled 38 enemy attacks.
Occupying forces in the Pokrovsk direction attempted to advance near numerous settlements, including Toretsk, Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhne, Novyi Donbas, Matiasheve, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Chernihivka, Dobropillia, Myrne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoserhiivka and Novopavlivka.
Situation in other directions
In the South-Sloboda direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions near Izbytske, Starytsia, Ustynivka and Khatnie five times, with two clashes still ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, defense forces repelled four enemy attacks near Kurylivka, Kivsharivka and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, defenders successfully repelled five attempts by occupying forces to advance near Novoselivka, Stavky and Lyman. In the Sloviansk direction, three enemy advances were stopped near Ozerne, Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka, with two more clashes continuing.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near Fedorivka, while in the Kostiantynivka direction Ukrainian forces repelled 12 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka and Toretske.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, defenders repelled one attack near Rybne, and in the Huliaipole direction six enemy attacks were recorded near the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Verkhnia Tersa and Tsvitkove.
