Genesis unveils new flagship GV90 — an electric SUV nearly 5.3 metres long
Hyundai's luxury brand Genesis has presented its new electric flagship GV90, offered in a standard version and a lavish Neolun trim packed with advanced technology and comfort features.

Genesis, the luxury brand owned by Hyundai, has officially unveiled its newest and largest model to date — the electric SUV GV90. The vehicle measures 5285 mm in length, 2030 mm in width and 1815 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3245 mm, making it one of the brand's biggest models yet. Its design draws heavily on the Neolun concept car shown in 2024, a name also carried by the range-topping trim.
The GV90 is built on a newly developed dedicated electric platform called eMP. The base version comes with conventional doors, while the Neolun variant features rear doors that open in the opposite direction — so-called 'suicide doors' — with no B-pillar between the front and rear door openings.
Powertrain and charging
The GV90 is powered by two electric motors delivering a combined 490 kW (667 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, providing all-wheel drive. A 124 kWh battery allows roughly 500 km of range on a single charge, and using a 350 kW DC fast charger, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes. The SUV also comes with air suspension, electronically controlled dampers and rear-wheel steering of up to five degrees, helping with manoeuvrability given its large size.
Interior and comfort
The centrepiece of the cabin is a 23.6-inch Cinematic Display, which can expand to 24.6 inches while the car is parked, replacing a traditional instrument cluster with a projection display. The car runs the Pleos Connect infotainment system, based on Android Automotive, featuring the Gleo AI assistant.
The most luxurious configuration is the GV90 Neolun Executive Suite, featuring a four-seat layout in which the front seats can rotate 180 degrees, while the rear offers premium seating, a refrigerator and built-in tables. Optional equipment includes a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, massage seats with 15 air chambers, a heated windshield and a roof airbag designed to protect occupants in a crash. Buyers can choose between 22- or 24-inch wheels and 16 body colours.
