Giannis Antetokounmpo Leaves Milwaukee Bucks, Joins Miami Heat
Milwaukee Bucks legend Giannis Antetokounmpo is traded to the Miami Heat in a multi-player deal that also includes Bobby Portis and several draft picks.

After 13 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is heading to the Miami Heat. The trade marks a major shift for both franchises. Antetokounmpo, who led the Bucks to an NBA championship in 2021 and was named Finals MVP, leaves behind a storied legacy.
A two-time NBA MVP (2019, 2020) and 10-time All-Star, he is the Bucks' all-time leader in points, assists, rebounds, and blocked shots.
In the deal, Bobby Portis will join Antetokounmpo in Miami, while the Bucks receive Tyler Herro, Keleli Veir, Haimi Hakez, and Lithuanian prospect Kasparas Jakučionis. Multiple draft picks are also included in the trade.
