On July 13, a rescue operation was launched in Kassinumme village, Jõgeva parish, Estonia, after a cow became stuck in a pond. The alarm center was notified at 11:44, according to the press service of the Lõuna Rescue Center.
The cow was about one meter from the shore. Rescuers managed to guide the animal closer to the bank using straps, but the cow was unable to stand on its own. Ultimately, the cow was pulled out of the pond using heavy machinery owned by the animal's owner. The rescue was successful, and the cow sustained no further issues.
