Glave, 26, crossed the line first in a time of 10.09 seconds, securing his first major international title. The result marks an improvement on his bronze medal finish at the previous championships held in Rome two years ago.
Azu, who became world and European indoor champion over 60m in 2025, took silver with a time of 10.16 seconds, building on the bronze he won in 2022.
Germany's Owen Ansah claimed the bronze medal after Italy's Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the two-time defending champion and a surprise Olympic gold medallist five years earlier, was forced to abandon the race with an apparent injury around the halfway mark, ending his bid for a third consecutive European title.
