Google adds trip-planning tools to Search's AI Mode
Google is rolling out new trip-planning features in Search's AI Mode, including flight price tracking, hotel booking and the ability to view costs in miles or points. The features are launching gradually across different markets.

Google has begun adding several trip-planning capabilities to AI Mode, its conversational search feature. Users can now tell the chatbot their desired destination and travel dates to receive flight options pulled from more than 300 airlines and travel sites, powered by the existing Google Flights price-tracking tool.
Price tracking and reward points
If a user asks AI Mode to track prices for a specific trip, Google will send an email notification whenever the price changes. This tracking feature is now available everywhere AI Mode operates, in all supported languages, with the exception of countries and territories within the European Economic Area.
Globally, users can now ask AI Mode to show flight or hotel costs in miles or reward points rather than currency, simply by specifying where and when they want to travel. At launch, this works with offers from Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels International, Hilton and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, with support for Accor, Flying Blue, Hyatt, LATAM Airlines and Lufthansa Group expected soon.
Hotel booking through AI Mode
Google is also enabling direct hotel bookings within AI Mode. After entering trip details and preferences, users will see hotel options alongside guest reviews and can complete payment through Google Pay. This booking feature will initially be limited to the US in English, working with partner sites including Expedia, Marriott International and Priceline, with a broader rollout planned in the coming weeks.
