Google AI Mode now integrates with Canva, YouTube Music and Instacart
Google AI Mode in Search now allows users to create playlists, design templates, and compile shopping lists using integrations with Canva, YouTube Music, and Instacart.

Google continues to expand AI capabilities in Search. This week in the US, users can now connect Canva, YouTube Music, and Instacart to AI Mode. This enables creating playlists based on genre and mood prompts via YouTube Music, with Gemini dropping the suggested playlist into the chat feed.
Users can also ask the AI to mock up design templates in Canva, such as flyers for a party, using calendar data. For Instacart, the AI can add ingredients and grocery items to the shopping cart. If a calendar event like a BBQ is saved, it will use that information to build the shopping list.
Google said it is working with other partners to launch similar integrations in the future. The Personal Intelligence feature, which allows Gemini to pull information from other apps, was added to AI Mode earlier this year. The company has been gradually expanding these features throughout 2026. A few months ago, AI began using Reddit for expert accounts, and at I/O 2026, Google promised smarter results in AI Search.
Google also launched a new Intelligent Search Box that dynamically grows to accommodate complex queries and accepts videos, images, files, and Chrome tabs as input.
