Google's next Pixel event is on August 12
Google announced that its next-generation Pixel devices will be unveiled on August 12 at 6 PM ET. Unlike previous years, the event will be held in the evening so viewers don't need to take time off work.

Google has officially announced that the next generation of its Pixel devices will be unveiled on August 12. In contrast to previous years, the launch event will begin at 6 PM ET, meaning enthusiasts won't need to adjust their work schedules to watch the proceedings.
Due to memory chip shortages that have driven up consumer electronics prices, this year's Pixel event is expected to be more subdued. Recent leaks suggest Google may not offer a 128GB storage variant for any of the new Pixel phones. Instead, base models will start at 256GB. While this would normally be welcome news, Google is expected to charge higher prices for the new devices.
Another recent rumor indicated that the company might reduce the amount of RAM in some configurations, but that rumor has not gained significant traction in recent weeks. On a positive note, Google is reportedly updating the aging Tensor processor for the Pixel 10, though the improvements appear modest. As always, pre-release leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. A clearer picture of the new Pixels will emerge on August 12.
