Google’s store page for the upcoming Pixel 11 now includes a short video showcasing a glowing, color-changing orb positioned to one side of the camera bar. The company has not disclosed any details about its purpose, but according to 9to5Google and The Verge, the orb may be the “Pixel Glow” light that appeared in Android 17 beta builds. Some speculate it could be tied to Google’s Gemini AI.
The teaser comes ahead of Google’s August 12 launch event for new Pixel hardware, though an earlier promo for that event showed the Pixel 11 without the glowing orb. Rumors suggest the Pixel 11 lineup might see a price increase, but the color options could be more appealing this year.
