Included with the Max 2 camera are a four-foot extension pole, two protective lens caps, two high-capacity batteries, a 64GB microSD card, a curved adhesive mount, a mounting buckle for GoPro mounts, a mounting finger adapter for cameras, two thumb screws, a wrist lanyard, a microfiber cloth, and a USB-C cable. By comparison, the base camera comes with fewer accessories: a single battery, no SD card, and no extension pole. The pole and extra battery alone cost $75 separately, making the bundle a good deal.
The Max 2 can shoot 8K 360-degree video at 30 frames per second or 4K 180-degree video at 60 fps. Its six-microphone array records audio from all directions and automatically reduces wind noise.
