Graf agrees to three-year, $12.75M deal with Sharks after establishing himself in lineup
Collins Graf has agreed to a three-year, $12.75 million contract with the San Jose Sharks after a productive season in which he solidified his place in the lineup.
Collins Graf has signed a new contract with the San Jose Sharks after breaking into the team’s regular lineup. The two sides agreed on a three-year deal worth $12.75 million, which works out to an average of $4.25 million per season. Under his previous contract, Graf earned $941,000 per year, making the new agreement a substantial raise.
Graf had a productive season with the Sharks, playing in 81 games and recording 21 goals and 25 assists. San Jose was in contention for a Stanley Cup playoff spot until the very end of the regular season.
The forward entered the NHL from the NCAA and was never drafted. He only became a full-time Shark last season. A year earlier, Graf appeared in 33 games and collected 11 points while gradually earning a bigger role.
