Acantha Lang, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, shared her thoughts on soul music as a powerful tool for connection in an interview with France 24. She described soul music as 'honest' and 'moving', adding that 'when people really connect with soul music, there's a kind of magic that happens.'

Born in New Orleans, Lang grew up surrounded by the sounds of soul, jazz, and blues. 'No matter where I am, I carry New Orleans in my spirit and in my music,' she said. Her time living in New York and London also influenced her artistry.

After her debut album 'Beautiful Dreams', Lang is now working on her second record. She revealed that the upcoming album will delve deeper into her personal experiences, offering a more intimate look into her life.
