Graudiņa with new partner, Pļaviņš/Fokerots start Gstaad Elite 16 with wins
Latvian beach volleyball players Tīna Graudiņa, Mārtiņš Pļaviņš, and Kristiāns Fokerots have successfully started the Elite 16 tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland.
This week, the prestigious Elite 16 beach volleyball tournament is taking place in Gstaad, Switzerland, featuring Latvian athletes. World champion Tīna Graudiņa has begun the tournament with a new partner, as her usual teammate Anastasija Samoilova is not participating this time. Latvia's top men's duo Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristiāns Fokerots also started the competition strongly. Both Latvian duos secured victories in their opening matches, demonstrating good form at the start of the tournament. The Gstaad event gathers the world's strongest beach volleyball pairs, and the performance of the Latvian players is being closely watched.
