Graudiņa/Ēbere convincingly start Gstaad Elite 16 main draw

Beach volleyball players Tina Graudiņa and Anastasija Ēbere have successfully begun the main draw of the Gstaad Elite 16 tournament. In their first Group F match, they defeated the Dutch duo Kaisa Stam and Raïsa Schoon, seeded seventh, with a score of 2-0 (24:22, 21:16). The Latvians reached the main draw through qualification, where they beat the American 13th seeds Molly Phillips and Abby van Winkle 2-0 (21:16, 21:15). The Latvian men's duo Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots also secured a victory in their first main draw match. The tournament in Switzerland will conclude on Sunday. In the Pro Beach Tour ranking, Elite 16 events are the highest tier, followed by Challenge and Futures competitions.
