Graudiņa and Samoilova open European Championship with a win

Latvia's beach volleyball pair Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova got off to a winning start at the European Championship, currently taking place in the Polish city of Stare Jabłonki.

In their first match on Wednesday, the Latvian duo secured victory, although the opening set was closely contested against their opponents.

Graudiņa and Samoilova are among Latvia's leading beach volleyball pairs, and the successful start gives them a good position heading into the rest of the European Championship.
