Latvia's beach volleyball pair Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova suffered a defeat on Saturday at the Beach Pro Tour (BPT) "Elite 16" tournament stop in Montreal.

The Latvian duo lost in the quarterfinal round, ending their run for the tournament's top spots. They finished the competition tied for fifth place.

The Montreal stage is part of the BPT "Elite 16" series, which brings together the world's top beach volleyball teams.
