Grealish loans out to Everton again from Manchester City

Manchester City forward Jack Grealish has rejoined Everton on a loan deal, marking the second time the 30-year-old has been sent to the Merseyside club on such terms.

An injury-hit spell last season

Grealish's previous stint at Everton ended early after he suffered a stress fracture that finished his season back in January. Despite the setback, he made 22 appearances for the club, scoring twice and providing six assists. During his recovery in the second half of last season, he remained part of Everton's squad.

Back to City, then out on loan again

This season, Grealish made two appearances for Manchester City off the bench — in a defeat to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield and in a 2-1 Premier League opening win over Bournemouth.

The new move to Everton is likely connected to Iliman Ndiaye's transfer in the opposite direction. With Ndiaye's transfer reportedly worth £76 million, Everton's management needed to fill the gap he left in the squad.
