"Grobiņa" Salvages Draw Against Ogres "United" (2:2) in Jūrmala
In the 24th round of the Latvian Football Virslīga, "Grobiņa" came back from 0-2 to draw 2-2 against Ogres "United" in a home match played in Jūrmala.

On Monday, the 24th round of the "Tonybet" Latvian Football Virslīga saw "Grobiņa" host Ogres "United" in Jūrmala, ending in a 2-2 draw.
The visitors took control in the first half. In the 13th minute, Artems Marčuks scored from a pass by Mārtiņš Lormans to make it 1-0. Just before halftime, in the 44th minute, Markuss Kalniņš headed in a cross from Kristers Čudars, doubling the lead to 2-0.
"Grobiņa" fought back in the second half. Substitute Oļģerds Raščevskis set up Milans Korrins in the 65th minute, who pulled one back to 1-2. In the 90th minute, another substitute, Devids Dobrecovs, delivered a cross for Korrins, who scored his second goal with a header under the crossbar, sealing the 2-2 draw.
Due to the damaged pitch at Liepāja stadium from a "Prāta vētra" concert, "Grobiņa" played their home match in Jūrmala. In their previous games, they had defeated "Tukums" 2-0 before losing 0-2 to "Super Nova".
Ogres "United" had won three of their last six league matches, but suffered a 0-4 loss to "Daugavpils" in the last round. However, they advanced to the Latvian Cup quarterfinals by beating "Valmiera" 4-2 in extra time.
The two previous league encounters this season both ended 1-1.
