Grobiņa and Auda Play Out Goalless Draw
Grobiņa held Auda to a 0-0 draw at home in the 20th round of the Latvian Virslīga. A goal by Milan Korrin was disallowed for offside.
Grobiņa and Auda played out a goalless draw in the 20th round of the Tonybet Latvian Virslīga on Thursday in Liepāja.
In the 36th minute, home striker Milan Korrin found the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Grobiņa had lost three of their previous four matches, with their only win coming against Liepāja (1:0). Auda, after a defeat to Tukums 2000 (1:2), had bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Super Nova.
The first two meetings of the season both ended in wins for Auda: 2-0 and 7-0.
In the standings, leaders RFS have 49 points from 19 games, Riga have 48, and Auda sit third with 39 points after 20 matches. Grobiņa have 17 points from 20 games.
Later Thursday, Daugavpils face Riga and Super Nova host Jelgava. On Friday, RFS visit Liepāja, while Ogre United welcome Tukums 2000 to conclude the round.
The 2026 season is played in four rounds, totaling 36 matchweeks and 180 matches. The final round is scheduled for November 8. Riga are the defending champions.
