The Georgian government has auctioned off a building in the capital Tbilisi that formerly housed the NATO and European Union Information Centre. The property sold for 13 million US dollars.

The Information Centre was established in 2005 with the purpose of providing the Georgian public with information about the European Union and NATO, including explaining the organisations' work and their relations with Georgia.

The report does not specify who the new owner of the building is or how the centre's activities will continue going forward.
