Gustavs Gailītis from Riga continues his dominance at the US Open Skateboard Slalom Championship, securing victory for the third year in a row. This year's event took place in Charleston, West Virginia, and attracted participants not only from the United States but also from Brazil, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Latvia.

In the opening giant slalom, the fastest was Brandon Sanchez from California. He was followed by experienced skater George Papas from Colorado, while world champion Gustavs Gailītis placed third.

In the subsequent disciplines—line slalom and hybrid slalom—Gailītis was unbeatable in both qualifying and finals, narrowly defeating Spain's Pablo Martinez. Kail Smith from the USA finished third.

In the women's division, Lina Kramer claimed the US champion title by winning the giant slalom and line slalom. In hybrid slalom, she was beaten by young Leiola Kahaku, while Sarah Bird placed third.

In the near future, on August 15 and 16, top Latvian skateboard slalom masters will compete at the European Championship in the Czech Republic. In mid-October, Paraguay will host the World Roller Sports Games, where this year's world champions in all three slalom disciplines will be determined.
