Gusts Ābele, who works both as a director and a writer, has earned recognition for his work at the National Theatre. His play 'Klusums un troksnis' (Silence and Noise) has been nominated for the prestigious theater award 'Spēlmaņu nakts' in the category 'Young Stage Artist of the Year'.

In an interview with 'Apollo.lv', Ābele revealed that he finds most valuable the ability to borrow interesting motifs from everyday life and turn them into art. This approach, in his opinion, is essential to the creative process.

While detailed aspects of the play's creation were not extensively discussed, the nomination alone is a testament to the artist's talent and a promising future in the theater scene. 'Spēlmaņu nakts' is an annual Latvian theater event that awards outstanding achievements in stage arts.
