Latvian national team striker Vladislavs Gutkovskis will continue to play for Polish side Arka Gdynia for another two seasons, the club announced on Tuesday.

Gutkovskis joined Arka last December. Since then, he has made 16 appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Before returning to Poland, Gutkovskis started the previous season with South Korean club Daejeon Citizen. He played 31 games and scored six goals there. During his time in South Korea, he recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for a long period.

Prior to his move to Asia, Gutkovskis spent three seasons with Rakow Czestochowa in Poland, winning the Polish championship. He has also represented Termalica Nieciecza in Poland and Skonto Riga in Latvia throughout his career.

In the recently concluded season, Arka finished 17th out of 18 teams in the Polish Ekstraklasa, failing to secure their spot in the top flight.
