Chinese carmaker GWM will launch its mid-size Haval H7 SUV in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2026. The model will offer several hybrid powertrain options, including the Hi4 all-wheel-drive system making its European debut.

Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor (GWM) is expanding its SUV lineup for the European market with the upcoming launch of the Haval H7. The model is set to debut in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Haval H7 is a mid-size SUV measuring nearly 4.80 meters in length, designed to combine everyday comfort with solid off-road capability. GWM is positioning it as a versatile choice for buyers with an active lifestyle.
Powertrain options
The SUV will be offered with several powertrains. One is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) equipped with the Hi4 all-wheel-drive hybrid system, which will make its European debut with the H7. The system is said to improve traction, stability and efficiency across different driving conditions.
A version with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine paired with a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will also be available, alongside a hybrid variant featuring a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a DHT system.
Interior and features
Inside, the H7 will feature GWM's digital Coffee OS system along with modern driver-assistance technologies. The vehicle offers seven driving modes, while its body makes extensive use of high-strength steel.
GWM has not yet released full technical specifications, as the H7 is still going through the homologation process. More detailed data on power output, fuel consumption and pricing will be disclosed at a later date.
