Khmara Appointed Acting Defense Minister, Sybiha as Acting Foreign Minister

Ukraine's government has appointed former Security Service head Yevhenii Khmara as acting defense minister and Andrii Sybiha as acting foreign minister. Prime Minister Serhii Koretsky announced the changes on Friday.

The Ukrainian government on Friday appointed Yevhenii Khmara as acting defense minister. Khmara previously served as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine. At the same time, Andrii Sybiha was appointed acting foreign minister. Prime Minister Serhii Koretsky announced the appointments. Both positions are temporary until permanent ministers are named.
